The registration fee includes meals, course materials, handouts and access to the vendor area. Full cancellation refunds will be granted through September 13, 2023. Partial refunds ($50.00) will be granted through the REGISTRATION DEADLINE OF October 1, 2023.

Our Featured Speakers:

Todd Ricketts, PhD

Professor and Vice Chair of Graduate Studies, Thomas L. and Jane Wilkerson Yount Endowed Chair in Hearing & Speech Sciences, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Todd has published more than 100 articles and book chapters and provided over 300 presentations both nationally and internationally. He continues to pursue a very active federally and industry funded research program studying the interaction between hearing aids and other hearing assistive technologies, listening environment, and individual differences with the goal of optimizing the individual listening and communication experience. In addition, current work also focuses on individualizing hearing aid services by enhancing cost-effectiveness and efficiency while maintaining high quality. He is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), past Editor of Trends in Amplification and the Journal of Speech Language and Hearing Research, and a past member of the American Academy of Audiology board of directors. He is currently vice-chair of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) S3 (Bioacoustics) committee and a current member of the International Collegium of Rehabilitative Audiologists (ICRA). In addition to his research and service, Todd teaches and mentors students at Vanderbilt.

  4. Describe how one clinically viable technique may be applied to individualize technology selection, adjustment and counseling.

Jill Davis, AuD

Jill Davis, AuD received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Audiology degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her 4th year externship in Phoenix, Arizona, specializing in cochlear implants and advanced vestibular training. She has been practicing over 16 years in all areas of audiology and is currently the owner of Victory Hearing & Balance in Austin Texas. Dr. Davis has a passion for improving communication and created the Victory Brain Training Program, a music-based auditory training program designed to improve the understanding of speech, especially in challenging listening environments.

  2. Understand neuro-musical research and how it relates to audiology.
